December 29, 2015 – Marla Cruickshank has joined UpCountri Homes & Estates as Sales Manager. Formerly a top producing associate for RE/MAX United in Fallbrook, Marla brings with her a successful track record of helping clients buy and sell homes throughout Southern California. “I really enjoy helping people and I genuinely enjoy the business. It’s very fulfilling,” said Cruickshank.

Marla’s move to UpCountri was a natural progression. The firm is owned by husband Keith, who is a broker. “Keith is a brilliant marketer and brand builder,” Marla says. “Having built and sold a high tech company years ago, he knows how to run successful businesses,” said Cruickshank. “I just felt that I could really extend what I do by joining with Keith.”

Marla is a five star rated Zillow agent and has top reviews on Google. She serves both buyers and sellers at all price points — from under $100,000 to $1,500,000 or more. “One of the unique aspects of working in the Fallbrook/Bonsall region is the wide range of housing and buyer types. I’m comfortable with everyone.” The Bonsall and Fallbrook real estate market is one of the few regional markets outside the coastal strip that has homes selling well into the $2,000,000 price range and above. “In this market, we enjoy tremendous variety. One day we’re wearing boots showing horse property, the next we’re working with the seller of a glamorous ridge-top estate, later that day I’m helping a first-time buyer locate a perfect starter bungalow. I love it all.”

Marla lives with her husband Keith in South Fallbrook, but they spend time a couple nights a month at their second home in La Jolla. “We lead such busy lives, we thought we’d try vacationing in La Jolla. It sounds kind of crazy, but we love it. We can get away to the beach for a day or so, yet we’re still close enough to serve clients throughout North County at a moments notice.”
