January 2016 – Fallbrook Market Report

The latest Fallbrook home value data is out for January 2016

Quick our quick analysis of this month’s HomeDex report…

keith-portraitv4-circleOur January 2016 HomeDex market data report for Fallbrook shows local market conditions trending upwards. January was an active month. Detached home sales were up 17% compared to a year ago, with the year-over-year rolling average up almost 12%. Strong numbers and an indicator that buyers were active.

Still, in January, sellers met with some resistance as buyers pressed for moderating price increases. The average home price dropped in January compared to a year ago – down over 9% – but this year-over-year comparison is counterbalanced somewhat by looking at the rolling 12 month average, which showed the average home price up almost 3% for the past 12 months. Overall, Fallbrook’s price trends were generally stronger than the San Diego County average.
